Day and Night Curtains

Traditional curtains comes in two layers, one layer being the perforated curtain fabric, and the second layer being the dim out or black out curtain fabric. Day and night curtains are widely installed and used in the Singaporean homes, mainly due to the much needed privacy and protection against harmful UV rays.

Customers will often ask us whether is it better to install day and night curtains or are installing window blinds a better option? We would usually recommend customers to keep in mind that if they are willing to wash the curtains about once a month, it is best to go ahead with traditional day and night curtains for protection against UV rays and almost 100% black out environment in the bedroom. However, if washing the curtains once a month is too much of a hassle, we would definitely recommend going for simple and modern looking window blinds such as Roller, Venetian and Korean Combi blinds.
