True Blinds And Furnishing carry 2 main types of window films, namely 3M Solar Film and True Defense Series Solar Film / Frosted Privacy Film. The uses of each of these window films works differently, depending on what you are seeking to achieve in terms of sunlight reduction or enhanced privacy.

The main purpose of installing Solar Film on your apartment windows is to act like a second layer of protection against harmful UV rays from the sun, and not so much on keeping the privacy from your surrounding neighbours.

On the other hand, Frosted Privacy Film as the name suggests, helps to enhance the privacy within your apartment. After installation of the frosted privacy film, surrounding neighbours will not be able to look into your apartment even without any blinds installed. However, owners will also not be able to look out of your apartment window for scenic view, as the layer of frosted window film obstructs the view. Frosted Privacy Film are generally installed in office meeting rooms and apartment bathrooms as an enhanced layer of privacy, not recommended for areas such as the Living Room and Bedrooms.
